Simulation for Stroke-Ready Hospital

Yesterday, March 7, our Brain Attack Team conducted a 22-minute (door to needle) simulation, guided by our Neurologist, Dr. Alessandra De Leon, and Ms. Gisella Mutuc from ANGELS Initiative, as part of our ongoing preparations to become a stroke-ready hospital.

The simulation served as a training exercise for our team, allowing them to practice identifying, diagnosing, and treating stroke patients in a controlled environment. Dr. Dan C. San Andres together with our employees from various departments including Laboratory, Cardiology, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Nursing, actively participated in the simulation, enhancing their readiness to respond effectively to stroke cases in real-life situations.
